1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OneShotCV ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. OneShotCV is operated by Alex Kwon as an individual. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
OneShotCV is a client-side resume building tool that allows users to create, preview, and export resumes as PDF documents. The Service operates entirely in your browser — we do not store, process, or transmit your resume data to any server.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for the content you enter into your resume.
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own data.
4. Intellectual Property
- The OneShotCV software, design, and codebase are proprietary.
- You retain full ownership of the content you create (your resume data).
- The PDF output you generate is yours to use as you see fit.
5. Payments
- Export is offered at $3 USD or free via the "I'm Broke" option.
- Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store payment information.
- All sales are final. Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are not offered.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We make no guarantees that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Your resume will result in employment.
- The output will be compatible with all Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
7. Limitation of Liability
OneShotCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to:
- Loss of data (your browser's local storage can be cleared)
- Missed job opportunities
- Any issues arising from the content of your resume
8. Data and Privacy
We don't collect, store, or transmit your personal data. All resume data remains in your browser's local storage. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which OneShotCV operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
